The builder was heavily influenced by Gone with the Wind and wanted to create a space that alludes to the indulgent opulence of Southern Colonial. However, he also wanted all the modern conveniences the 21st Century has to offer.
The Recreation Room/Pub is designed for Home Owners and their Guests to gather for cocktails, a light meal, a game of cards or billiards, or perhaps to watch a televised game with friends. It harkens back to an era when special rooms were created for frivolous fun or intimate gatherings.
The interior is enhanced by strong architectural details, furniture finishes, and lavish materials, yet is full of masculine textures to give a casual not to elegance while offering myriad possibilities for fun. |
